Mary Olson & Viola Olson Gustafson Scholarship

BACKGROUND:
Mary Olson and Viola Olson Gustafson were born and died in Cloud County, Kansas.  In between, during a time when nursing degrees were not yet heard of, these strong Kansas women trained in the art of nursing and spent their lives caring for others.

GEOGRAPHIC LIMITATIONS:
Students attending Cloud County Community College

CRITERIA:

• Applicants must be attending or planning to attend Cloud County Community College.
• Applicants must plan on obtaining a degree in nursing or a related medical field.
• Preference will be given to applicants who have attained grades that place them in the top quartile of their high school graduating class.
• Applicants may also be “non-traditional” students.
